Domestic Return and Exchange Policy

*HOLIDAY 2024 RETURN POLICY*

We are extending our return for store credit or exchange window until Jan. 8 for purchases made after Nov. 29.

For a full refund back to the original method of payment, returns must be made within 14 days of purchase.

After Dec. 25, we will revert back to our original return policy - see below.

IN STORE RETURNS:

Returns are accepted within 14 days for a full refund back to the original form of payment or store credit. We cannot accept returns after 14 days. A receipt or gift receipt is required to make a return. 

The same policy applies to gifts. Returns are accepted within 14 days for store credit. A gift receipt is required to make a return.

Items purchased on sale for 30% or higher are final sale. No refunds, no exchanges. 

Unfortunately, we are not able to return items after 14 days - no exceptions.

We ask items to be returned within a 2-week time period because we buy in small quantities and our inventory is constantly changing. There are times we simply no longer have the space for previously purchased items or they are no longer in our inventory system. Please take into account our opening days and hours and plan accordingly if you need to make a return.

All items must be in new, unworn, perfect condition with tags still attached for a full refund. 

The following items are final sale:

  • any sale items over 30%
  • all vintage and preloved items 
  • apothecary items (including perfume)
  • any pantry and food items
  • all earrings 
  • gift cards

As per Oregon Law, all apothecary items must be trashed if returned.  As a small business, we don't have the margins to refund and trash returned apothecary. This includes - but is not limited to - perfume, oil, lotions, bath salts, soaps, and nail polish. 

Please note that our online inventory is pulled from our store and subject to availability. We will try our best to fulfill all online orders, and if an item is out of stock we will notify you as soon as possible. 

We reserve the right to refuse any return.

Gift cards are always a great gift as there is no expiration date! 

Online Returns

Please email orders@yoportland.com to initiate your return. 

We will get back to you with confirmation and instructions within 2-3 business days.

All returns / items must be shipped back within 2 weeks from received. For example if you receive your item on a Monday, the latest it can be post marked is 14 days after that Monday.

We offer a full refund back to the original methods of payment or a gift card within 2 weeks of delivery. Gifts must also be returned within a 2 weeks of delivery.

We are not responsible for shipping costs back to us and cannot refund original shipping charges. We can send send you a return shipping label for $9 if you prefer.

If you ship a return without prior approval or outside the return policy window, we will refuse the shipment and it will be sent back to you.

Damaged Items

If an item arrives damaged, please send an email to orders@yoportland.com and we will facilitate a claim with the shipping carrier. Please include pictures of the broken item and shipping box (inner and outer) as we will need both to file the claim. All items are shipped with insurance and will be refunded once the carrier issues a refund.

All damage claims must be received within 3 days of receiving the shipment. We cannot accept damage claims after that timeframe.

Sales Tax

No sales tax online or in-store! In Oregon, we're not required to collect sales tax. So enjoy your tax-free shopping. We encourage you to check your state's tax regulations for reporting purchases on your individual tax return.

International Returns

All items shipped internationally are final sale. We do not accept returns on any international orders.
