European Food Tour w/ Our E-Comm Gal, Shiho!

A Food Tour Of London, Amsterdam and Copenhagen.
A new take on our city guide series, we asked our e comm and operations team of one - Shiho - to give us the round up of all her favorite eats on a recent trip to London, Amsterdam and Copenhagen. Shiho is our foodie queen at The Yo Store (follow her new food IG account here!), and if anyone is going to have the scoop on where to eat, it's her.
Read on for her favorite finds from over the pond...

London

Borough Market
I saw these strawberries on Instagram and knew we had to get them. I thought we wouldn’t be able to eat them all, but they were a surprisingly light treat, and I wanted more when it was gone. The same vendor also had these smoothies, and they were so refreshing!
Arôme Bakery
All the pastries at Arôme Bakery were beautiful and crispy. We got the honey butter toast and apple danish with miso caramel glaze. The crispy outer shell of the toast and the flaky layers of the danish pastry make this bakery a must-visit for anyone going to London.
ROVI
This was a really fun set menu we had in London! ROVI is one of Chef Yotam Ottolenghi’s restaurants, and we had lunch inspired by one of his cookbooks called Flavor (which The Yo Store carries here!)

We love an Ottolenghi book around here, and Flavor has some of our favorite recipes. The above pictured Mushroom Lasagna is one of Corissa's favorites!

Amsterdam

van Wonderen Stroopwafels
A nice little sweet treat that was made fresh when we ordered! A stroopwafel is a thin waffle cookie with caramel inside. You can add a topping of your choice, but I ordered mine plain and simple.
LOCALS
This is a very cute and minimal spot to have brunch. We went right when they opened, so it was less busy and lead to a peaceful experience. I had this acai bowl that was so yummy with their housemade granola.
nNea Pizza
I recommend getting a reservation for nNea, but you can definitely still go without one! The pizza was so good that we went twice! We didn’t have a reservation the first time we went, but luckily, they have a take-out counter next to their dine-in restaurant. You can order a pizza for less wait-time than waiting to get seated at the restaurant. The second time, we said, “We have to dine in,” so we went early to put our name down and waited an hour or so. nNea is ranked in the top 50 pizza places in the world, and it definitely lived up to that!

I love Pizza.

Everyone loves pizza, right? Saver of parties, empty fridges and hangovers the world over. So, if you can't imagine your world without dough, cheese and tomato, then this is the book for you.

Copenhagen

Bæst

I was looking for restaurants in the top 50 pizza places in the world at each stop of our trip and this place was another one! We had this set menu where you pick a pizza of your choice and they serve you all the best they offer from their kitchen, like their housemade cheese.
The Sixteen Twelve

This French toast was so light and refreshing. It is a twice-cooked brioche with coconut yogurt and berries. It is a great place to go for brunch in Copenhagen.
Hart Bageri

The pastries were SO GOOD—the cardamom croissant was the best! This was another thing we got twice. I also had this triple chocolate bun, which reminded me of my childhood when I used to bake bread with my mom!
Thanks for reading! I just got back from a quick trip to Copenhagen to eat at the incredible Noma - it was so worth it!Follow me herefor more food adventures,
